PLACEMENT POLICY OF SHERWOOD SHELTIESWe guarantee official Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) papers. We also guarantee the health against congenital defects and hereditary disease for a period of eighteen months. As for our pet or show contracts, we don’t impose unrealistic buying conditions on any of our pups. We want all the pups to go to homes as pets first, and we encourage new owners to take the pup to obedience training to ensure both the pup and their new family is skilled for life. If the new owner chooses to enter into agility, herding or the show route, we advise training is available throughout the year through many great trainers. First and foremost, we closely screen all prospective owners and may ask for references. Our philosophy is that all pups go to good homes and that they should be affordable. We do believe any new sheltie owner can have excellence without astronomical prices. |
